The “Year of Mathematics” concludes with one more important competition, reaffirming the role of TU-Sofia as a center for mathematical knowledge and competitive spirit.

Interuniversity Student Competition in Mathematics

  • Host: Technical University – Sofia

  • Organizer: Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (FAMI)

  • Dates: December 11–12, 2026

Eligibility

Any student enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program at any accredited higher education institution in the Republic of Bulgaria has the right to participate as a competitor.

Competition Groups

Students are divided into competition groups according to the professional field of their specialty:

  • Group A: Mathematics, Informatics, and Computer Sciences

  • Group B: Natural and Technical Sciences, Security, and Defense

  • Group C: All specialties not included in Groups A and B
