In October, the “Year of Mathematics” reaches its international culmination by hosting the prestigious student competition “Quantum Mind.”

International Student Competition “Quantum Mind”

  • Host: Technical University – Sofia

  • Dates: October 23–25, 2026

Eligibility

The right to participate as competitors in the international competition is granted to:

  • All students in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs.

  • Participants from higher education institutions across Europe and the world.

Students will compete in teams consisting of 3 to 5 participants.

Competition Format

  1. Case Study Work: Registered teams work on assigned case studies.

  2. Time for Work: Teams will have a total of 6 hours to find a solution and achieve results.

  3. Mentorship: Each team will be supported by a mentor during the competition and while preparing for the final.

  4. Final: For the final, each team will have 15 minutes to present their results before an authoritative international jury.

The jury will make the final ranking and announce the winners of the competition.
