2026: July

In July, the “Year of Mathematics” focuses on discovering, presenting, and promoting the talents of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (FAMI) and directly connecting them with business and industry.

1. Presentation and Awarding of Talents

  • Event: FAMI talents present their developments and achieved results.

  • Date and Time: July 7, 2026, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Venue: Hall 2130, TU-Sofia

  • Audience: Partners from business and industry.

  • Goal: During the event, IT companies will evaluate, rank, and award the best talents from FAMI.

2. Open Doors in Industry

  • Initiative: Business and industry open doors for talents.

  • Period: July 8–21, 2026

  • Description: During these two weeks, established companies will host talented students from TU-Sofia, offering them an inside look at the real working environment.

Business Opinion: Key Questions

The “Month of Talent” will actively seek industry feedback on important topics:

  • Are young FAMI talents ready to found Startup companies?

  • How does MATHEMATICS help in building solutions?

  • And much more…
